December 18, 2012 — The Winchester ’73 is considered the “gun that won the west,” and is the reason everybody west of the Mississippi doesn’t speak Japanese.
Dr. Gatling’s gun was patented in the 1860’s but, in principle, invented by an engineer named Leonardo da Vinci much earlier. His illustration was of a box of tubes. Many barrels, many bangs.
There is a diversion effect here. What with is important in military academies, but what matters to the rest of us is who wins. The bottom line, so to speak. Then, there is the meaning of the term, itself. A win, or victory. You can be sure that most Americans alive today have a Hollywood definition of that.
The Last Victory
We haven’t won a war since I was about five years old. Liberals are the cause. Their conspiracy has been so successful that it is now public. They did it working down from the top in the schools. Out of Harvard flow two main streams — one toward government power, the other into the definition of what is and what isn’t an American education. Those not needed in the White House or the dominant towers of education may be plugged into the media. What people think comes from how they were trained to think, and what their ongoing sources of information tell them. The assistant angels here would be Yale, Columbia and portions of the University of California. From these you get a fine flow of liberal media drones and Hollywood zone cultural sluts.
That there is open talk by politicians in power that key elements of the republic which are represented in the Constitution should be abridged or altered outside of the process provided in the Constitution, itself, is proof of at least the liberal victory over the national mind. It’s a kind of national high school cultural in-crowd, now. Very juvenile
It is rotten. The kind of corruption one would expect inside an ancient story of hero and villain. I was quite advanced in years before I realized the devil was a term for the kind of evil that looks and sounds like a loving friend of humanity while it is picking your pocket, stealing your soul. Clearly, the ghoulish portraits of him are released by his public relations firm.
There is Hades in the smile of Pelosi, shades of the zombie in the bloodless countenance of Reid; and the death of a nation once made of courage, truth and reason within the embracing paternal aura of Obama.
The devil is reincarnated. He finds new lands to farm in the realm of the stupid. The weak spirit is to his advantage. Girls just want to have fun. Make love not war, said the hippies of the Sixties.
Real Barbarians require risky attention
Concerning guns for your average citizen, Rome fell when the people let others do their fighting for them. Actual history, like a Gatling gun or a Glock repeats itself. It is now un-American to speak of logic and noble vs. ignoble acts, so I will end the sermonizing, and say that even if some of the dates and victim numbers below are rough estimates, the basic message is absolutely true. Mass slaughters described below happened in the places described. What is in that text, however, is only a small sampling of such events during the times since Man was invented, apparently in Africa. Just remember: When you walk unarmed among lions, they will be pleased.
A LITTLE GUN HISTORY (Part of the E-RFD* text we got.)
In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated In 1911,
Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.
You won’t see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens. Take note my fellow Americans, before it’s too late! The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson.
With guns, we are ‘citizens’. Without them, we are ‘subjects’.
During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED!
*Note: E-RFDs are what OrMag has tagged as messages that circulate around the internet.
No byline came with the email text above. The liberal culture which defines right and wrong in America today labels text like that as, oh, right-wing, fascist, KKK and similar things. This, of course, tells you what the university in-crowd intellectual elite of this land think of the founding fathers — and their Constitution.
Should you wish to know the point we intend, it is this. When the lefties attempt to re-mold or eliminate rights planted in the Constitution, demand that to do it they use the rules for change embedded in that same document. No Constitutional process, no legal change, must be your position — or the freedom of the individual will soon depart this planet.
For proof of your own about what happens when you don’t have a Constitution just like the one we enjoy, get in a boat and row about 60 miles due south of Florida. There, as in North Korea and many other kingdoms on this Earth, even though the Emperor is naked, you must admire his new suit of clothes.
