| ABC "News" Locates Stupid General
The clear implication in his words is that warmongers who work for Bush wanted an excuse to invade other nations. Apparently, General Clark, a native of Little Rock, Arkansas who in 1997, during the administration of fellow Arkansan, Bill Clinton, was appointed NATO Supreme Allied Commander (a job which is located in Europe, where one is deluged with socialists) has never heard of Pearl Harbor. Nor, apparently, does this potential future American presidential candidate have the faintest idea what the American people supported or didn't support at the time. Nor, apparently, does this potential future American presidential candidate have the faintest idea what President Franklin Roosevelt did with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, or why he did it. This man isn't qualified to become dog catcher. Nor is his interviewer
in this case, boy reporter This hairstyle, who got his big break as a Clinton election campaign executive and White House press secretary, is more of a liberal boob than former official This Week leftwing spinmeister,Sam Donaldson. For those of our readers who were born in recent decades, and of course for everyone who thinks the mainstream national (or Oregon) press is manned by journalists with working brains, the people of the United States prior to Pearl Harbor were dead set against our entry into the conflict, then centered in Europe, headed by Hitler's Germany and which included as direct backers or opportunistic players the "axis" powers of the Soviet Union, Italy and Japan. This on-air example of boneheaded ignorance reminds us of other recent adventures in liberal stupidity. Norman Mailer's ignorance of his own general's (Douglas MacArthur) accomplishment in post-war Japan and the current moronic attempt by the entire mainsteam press establishment to singe Bush's tailfeathers with the ridiculous charge that Hussein didn't have weapons of mass destruction (ever hear of the Kurds?) are two example which come to mind. If more is needed, consider the criticisms that Bush democratization policy is a failure in Iraq. After ten weeks? It took MacArthur four years (lowest historical opinion) to change Japan from a feudal empire to a parliamentary democracy. And, these same "journalists" who told you two months ago that it would be damn near impossible to "force democracy" on a Middle Eastern nation are now complaining that it hasn't happened in ten weeks? And, millions of Americans sit there drooling and nodding their heads to everything these clowns say, no matter how much what they say today contradicts what they said yesterday? I blame "modern" American public education. It would take 12 years of solid brainwashing of vulnerable children to make that many people turn out to be that stupid. Here's some history those poor victims never learned.
But, Pearl Harbor changed all that. The people of America finally understood. A bully will continue until he is physically stopped. Talking accomplishes nothing. You bomb the hell out of where he lives, then send in troops to take out his supporters on the ground. When his support structure goes down, he goes down. Hirohito, Hitler, Hussein -- it's always the same. Take them out before they get too powerful, or have to take them out at much higher cost, later. (That is exactly the problem in North Korea at this very time. If the liberals can block action there for a little while longer, those goose-stepping fanatics will have nuclear bullets to shoot.) You'd think a damned general would realize that, but either this one doesn't, or is letting his desire for political power blind him to truths that were in front of him during his entire military career. Bush administration warmongers used 911 to generate public support for going after Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein? What the hell does Clark think the warmongers in the Roosevelt administration used Pearl Harbor for -- a peace initiative? The level of crap being dished out these days by American liberals and their public relations flacks in the mainstream press represents complete disrespect for the nation which has provided them with the greatest individual freedom in world history, and the only hope for freedom for the rest of the entire planet. It is our suggestion that you tell these people what you think in the election of 2004. Your voice has a decibel of one vote, but when added to hundreds of millions of others will generate a roar that will send George Bush and an army of conservatives into the White House and congress. To hell with Wesley Clark and George Steponallofus. To hell with the bouffant boobs of the Oregon big media. Burn their tailfeathers with a re-elected Bush and ten more conservative U.S. Senators! Then listen to the liberal bullies, both foreign and domestic, squeak. Both France and Canada will be very angry with you, of course. That means Barbra Streisand will be disappointed in you, as well. Peter Jennings and the editorial board of the Oregonian will frown. OPB's Maynard Orme will not be happy, either. You'll have to live with all that. It's the price of freedom. Our sons and daughters in the military are willing to pay a much higher price, than that. Disapproval from arrogant liberals is nothing compared to the dangers those patriots face.
